No Crafting

Not crafting this time some photography instead. With it being half term I took Friday off work and took the boys into London decided to head into the square mile. This sculpture was outside the royal exchange. We went in side and as I was about to take an internal photo I was knabbed by security and told NO!

I was given an itinerary by my friend The Hairy Goat photography so we roughly followed her route, thanks Corrina.

We then walked along the Thames Path for a while and later met up with my husband who took the boys around the car dealerships he works for, they love seeing all the fast cars and taking pictures for there Facebook pages.

And ended up at McClaren it is great to have someone on the inside, thanks to the staff for letting the boys have a sit in the cars.
Well thats me for today, I am in spain the weekend so more photography to come. Then the week after that I will be away with the girls crafting for a whole week whoop whoop bring it on x

Scrapbags Saturday

Well yesterday started off not good, after a night of fierce winds we woke up to a tree on my van and another one over next doors hedge. So I thought I was going to have to stay home instead of playing with the girls….but my lovely husband said to go. I didn't take much persuading.
I spent the day with the scrapbook girls at the Scrapbags crop day. This is my page made from the kit which consisted of two sheets of cream card…amazing what you can do with some ink, stamps and a bit of bling. The photo I used was from my weekend with the girls in Barcelona.
Sadly there was some damage to the van on the wing and bonnet so now need to get that sorted.

The boys spent the day sawing up the trees and have some more to do today.

I am off shopping with my daughter as I have to take a couple of bits back I got last week. Maybe catch up later with some more crafting. Bye for now x

Weekend Yippee

Friday again at last, shame the weekends always go too fast. Off out with the girls tonight.

Some cards I made last weekend. First one was some inspiration from the lovely Jules.

This one was my own thoughts for a change.

Oh and this one, I stencilled the heart from a stencil that was on a card I received. Used some ribbon my daughter brought me for christmas, and stamped the sentiment with a clearly besotted stamp. Talking of clearly besotted stamps was very disappointed that I was unable to buy new release of the dandelion stamps :( sold out so quick, think Stephanie needs to be ordering in more stock, under estimating her popularity. May be get some time for some more cards over the weekend. Have a good one x
