So Annoyed

I spent last night making this card for my lovely sister in law who is starting a new job. This morning,  I find it ruiend, i had placed it in my bag under the microwave and had spilt hot chocolate on it :( so annoyed, oh well i have wrote a little story in it explaining as i don't have time to make another as off up to Sherwood to meet her tomorrow.

Graduation

Good evening, last night we had my daughters graduation in St Albans Abbey, it was a lovely setting.
She was very lucky and got her first Job teaching at a local village school which she is loving. She is very dedicated and works extremely hard and very late nights I might add, so don't ever knock teachers and there holidays.

We had a lovely meal afterwards to celebrate.

Very proud of her as she got a First which she worked very hard for.

Enough bragging, off rallying in Sherwood Forrest tomorrow with hubby and boys. So no crafting this weekend. x

Wow a Tuesday Post

Well heres a couple more I managed to do on Sunday. Inspiration for the first one was from my favourite blogger Always With a Heart the lovely Jules. Just love all her cards,

This one was inspired by Pink Petticoat, its also using her lovely images and idea. So pleased I managed to make some this weekend as well as going to London. I won't get much done next weekend as we will be in Sherwood Pines Forrest rallying again with hubby and boys. Hope it doesn't  snow. Bye for now x

CBS card make

Well I did manage to do some crafting today. Got up early done the dreaded ironing then made my christmas puddings and a casserole for tea, while the boys were in Birmingham at the classic car show. So this afternoon I made this card using CBS stamp I just purchased. Quite pleased with result, some washi tape and bling to finish off.

We seem to have a fox visiting our garden past couple of nights, my poor cat is petrified she even piddle her self yesterday watching it out the window and today she wouldn't go out :( . I am a bit worried as to whether it would attack her as it seems to be smelling all around the patio area.

Well I am off to do some more cards before dishing up tea bye for now x

Day Trip to London

Had a lovely day in London today with my daughter, we went to the ideal home christmas show and then went shopping after.

My daughter was well chuffed as we managed to meet Peter Andre so she got a cuddle and I got a kiss!

Her are some pictures of the windows at Selfridges. We also both got new dresses for her graduation which is this coming Thursday so hopefully will have some more photos to show then.

Graduation day is going to be quite emotional as I know how proud her Dad would have been if he had been here to see her, its always these occasions which are are hard to do without him here to see her.

Quick Monday Morning Post

Just a quick morning post today, I made a couple of sympathy cards last night always a sad reflecting time, thinking of friends who have lost loved ones. I used CBS stamps although this set is currently out of stock. Well better go get ready for work, have a good day everyone x

Pink Heart Jumper

Its Saturday and it was my friends granddaughters 1st birthday yesterday, here is the card I made for her, not my first idea as I was having trouble cutting out some letters with sizzix which I gave up on as it was annoying me.

And here is the Jumper I knitted for her, hope she likes it. It has taken me a while to finish this one as made a couple of mistakes but got there in the end. Now my daughter wants me to knit her some fingerless mittens with hoods so think I will go and start them. Although feeling tired have a bit of a cold. Going to champagne brunch at the Landmark in London tomorrow so looking forward to that. Winds getting up here again tonight, hope you are all having a nice saturday evening. Back soon x
